Arrive from Arusha to Moshi
Upon arrival in Arusha, you’ll be met by your driver who will transfer you to your hotel in Moshi. Later in the afternoon, your guide will hold a briefing at the hotel to get you ready for the upcoming adventure.

Moshi – Rongai Gate – Simba Camp
After breakfast, your driver will pick you up and take you to Rongai Gate, where you'll obtain your hiking permit. From there, the trail passes through farmland and gradually ascends into the lush rainforest at the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro, leading you to your first overnight stop on the mountain — the aptly named Simba Camp.

Although it's a relatively short hiking day, it brings you nearer to the stunning Eastern Ice Fields, which will keep capturing your gaze. Be mindful of how your body feels and notify your guide immediately if you notice any symptoms of altitude sickness.

This is the toughest section of the trek, with a steep climb over loose scree leading to the crater rim at Gilman’s Point. Reaching this stage demands strong will and perseverance. After a brief rest, you'll push on to Uhuru Peak – the highest point in Africa! After celebrating with summit photos, you'll descend to Kibo Huts for lunch, then continue to Horombo Huts for your final night on the mountain.
