Arrival from Zanzibar to Arusha
On this day, you will catch a flight towards Arusha departing from Zanzibar. You will meet Africa Natural Tours member driver at the airport of either Arusha Airport or Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) ready to pick you up and drive to the luxury hotel - Mount Meru Hotel located within 10km of the Arusha City Center. Arusha - Southern Serengeti National Park (Ndutu Area)
Your migration safari adventure begins early as you're picked up from your Arusha hotel and driven to the Ndutu region, a 5.5-hour journey covering 260 km. Along the way, you’ll pass through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, where the landscape transforms from hilly forests to lush grasslands. Once in Ndutu, embark on a thrilling half-day game drive with a picnic lunch amid sweeping grasslands that gradually blend into the Serengeti. Witness part of the great migration route, where over 2 million wildebeests and thousands of zebras, antelopes, and gazelles roam. During the prime calving season (December, January, February, and March), see young wildebeest vulnerable to predators, showcasing the raw circle of life. The Ndutu and Masek lakes, vital water sources during the dry season, attract diverse wildlife. Your action-filled day concludes around 5 PM, heading to your chosen accommodation for a delicious dinner and much-needed rest.

Full Day Game Drive Safari at Ndutu Area (Southern Serengeti National Park)
Stunned by the previous days spotting of the migration, today you get another chance to view the beautiful wildlife spectacle. The Ndutu region is a part of the glorious Serengeti National Park as well as the Ngorongoro Conservation Area (NCA). Heading out for a full day game drive after breakfast, today you will be following the migration depending on its location in either NCA or Serengeti. During game drives at the right season between December and April, you will be able to see the fertile plains turn into calving grounds and nursery for the great migration. This season attracts hordes of predators prying on vulnerable young wildebeest. Watching the circle of life take it's course will be an unforgettable experience etched for life. The action-packed game drive will end late in the evening by around 5PM. You will now head towards your choice of accommodation, where a freshly prepared dinner awaits you. Ensure you get some good rest and recharge yourself for another eventful day.

Southern Serengeti National Park (Ndutu) to Central Serengeti National Park
Today’s adventure takes you to the world-famous Serengeti National Park, known for its endless plains and breathtaking views stretching to the horizon. After breakfast, you will journey through vast grasslands, witnessing the majestic landscape that covers 14,763 sq km. The Serengeti is home to the iconic “Big 5” (elephant, rhino, buffalo, lion, and leopard) and other stunning wildlife like the graceful impala. Discover the unique Serengeti "Kopjes" – massive granite boulders rising from the sea of grass, providing shelter for various flora and fauna. Enjoy a picnic lunch during the day-long game drive while immersing yourself in the raw beauty of Africa. As the eventful day ends, return to your accommodation for a hearty dinner and a restful night.

Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro Conservation Area
Today, by 9AM in the morning you will head out for a short game drive in the Serengeti after a good breakfast. After completing a half day game drive along with a picnic lunch, we will branch out and head towards the Ngorongoro crater rim. The 75-km drive to Ngorongoro Crater rim will take about 2.5 hrs, with mild game action to see on the way. The crater is one of Africa’s impressive geological attraction and supreme mecca of wilderness. The day comes to an end with a heavy dinner and a good rest in your choice of accommodation. Get a good rest and refuel yourself, for the following day you will descend into the massive crater.

Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha
On the last day of your safari, you will have an early start. Finishing up with a quick breakfast you will make an early descend into the crater floor. The Ngorongoro crater is the world’s largest inactive, intact and unfilled volcanic caldera. It has a massive floor of about 260 sq kms with a depth of over 2000 feet. The 5-hour game drive in the crater floor, will show you a lot of animal action. Keeping the camera ready is definitely recommended. The African elephant, buffalo, Black rhino, Hippos, Hyenas, Cheetahs and Lions are found in plenty. Post the picnic lunch at the beautiful Hippo pool, you will begin a steep ascend to the top exit of the crater. This is the last leg of your safari, with a 4hr drive left to Arusha. You will be dropped off to your preferred location in Arusha by 6PM in the evening. With an incredible experience and loads of memories to cherish, this is the time you bid goodbye to your team.
