On this one-day group budget safari in Tanzania, departing from either Karatu or Mto wa Mbu, your adventure begins with an early start at 8:00 AM. You will traverse the picturesque Tanzanian countryside on your way to the magnificent Tarangire National Park. Come and discover why Tarangire is renowned for its elephant herds, expansive savannahs, iconic baobab trees, seasonal wetlands, and the vital Tarangire River. Various animals congregate at the river to hydrate and cool off under the intense African sun. From the open roof of your vehicle, you will have the opportunity to appreciate the stunning landscape and observe diverse wildlife. Following an early breakfast, you will check out of the lodge and proceed to the renowned Ngorongoro Crater. You will navigate a steep path into the caldera to partake in your final game drive. The caldera, which is a collapsed volcano, hosts over 25,000 mammals, including the "Big Five" (lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino, leopard) and more than 500 bird species. A picnic lunch will be enjoyed within the crater, after which you will ascend back to the crater rim in the afternoon.
