After breakfast in Nairobi, drive to Nanyuki, the base town for Mount Kenya. Continue to Sirimon Gate (2,650m) and begin a scenic 9 km hike through lush forest, bamboo, and heather zones to Old Moses Camp (3,300m). Along the way, spot elephants, buffaloes, bushbucks, and colorful birds. Hike further to 3,600m for panoramic views of Mount Kenya’s twin peaks, Batian and Nelion, before descending for a picnic lunch. Later, return to your mid-range lodge for dinner and rest.
