After an early breakfast in Nairobi, embark on a scenic drive through the Great Rift Valley towards Masai Mara. Arriving in time for lunch, settle into your budget camp before heading out for an afternoon game drive. This first encounter with the Mara’s vast plains introduces you to lions, elephants, and possibly a cheetah on the hunt. As the sun sets, return to your camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

Masai Mara – Lake Nakuru

After breakfast, leave the Mara behind and drive to Lake Nakuru, arriving in time for lunch. Keep an eye out for rhinos, Rothschild giraffes, and tree-climbing lions before returning to your lodge for the night.
