Arrive from Arusha to Moshi
Upon arrival in Arusha, your driver will greet you and transfer you to your hotel in Moshi. Later in the afternoon, your guide will hold a briefing at the hotel to get you ready for the upcoming adventure.

Moshi – Rongai Gate – Simba Camp
After breakfast, your driver will pick you up and take you to Rongai Gate to obtain your hiking permit. The trail then passes through farmland before gradually ascending into the lush rainforest at the base of Mount Kilimanjaro, leading you to your first overnight stop at Simba Camp.

Summit night is here! Rising at midnight, you’ll start with a warm drink before embarking on the tough climb to Uhuru Peak, which rises 5,895m (19,340ft) above sea level. This is the hardest part of the journey, with a steep ascent over loose scree to Gilman’s Point on the crater rim. It demands great determination and stamina. After a brief rest, you’ll push on to Uhuru Peak—the highest spot in Africa! After photos and celebration, you’ll descend to Kibo Huts for lunch, then continue down to Horombo Huts for your last night on the mountain.
