The migration safari begins early on the first day with a pick-up from your hotel in Moshi, followed by a 5.5-hour drive to the Ndutu region, covering 260 km. After two hours, you’ll enter the Ngorongoro Conservation Area (NCA), where the landscape shifts from hilly forests to expansive grasslands. Upon arrival in Ndutu, you’ll enjoy a half-day game drive, with a break for a picnic lunch. The region’s sweeping grasslands gradually blend into the Serengeti, forming part of the migration route for over 2 million wildebeests, along with zebras, antelopes, and gazelles. The Ndutu Lake and Lake Masek waterholes are teeming with wildlife during the dry season.
