Today, you’ll wake up early for one of the most spectacular game drives in the world, inside the Ngorongoro Crater. You’ll descend to the crater floor around 6:30 AM and spend approximately 5 hours exploring this UNESCO World Heritage site, home to over 30,000 animals. The crater is one of the best places to see the rare black rhino, along with lions, elephants, buffaloes, hippos, and flamingos at Lake Magadi. After a picnic lunch near the hippo pool, you’ll ascend and head to Lake Manyara National Park, a 1.5-hour drive away. After your journey, you’ll relax in a lodge or campsite near the park.
