Arusha to Tarangire National Park, Overnight at Manyara (Mto wa Mbu)

Rise early, with your guide picking you up around 6:00 AM to 5:00 AM, and begin your journey into the heart of Tanzania's iconic wildlife destinations. After a brief introduction and safety briefing, you will drive from Arusha to Tarangire National Park, renowned for its towering baobab trees and large elephant herds. As you enter the park, you'll immediately be immersed in the sights and sounds of the African savannah. The park’s diverse ecosystems are home to a variety of wildlife, including lions, giraffes, zebras, and countless bird species. On Day 2, after an early breakfast, we leave Manyara and travel through the scenic highlands of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, heading toward the vast plains of Serengeti National Park. Along the way, we enjoy breathtaking landscapes before arriving in Serengeti for an exciting game drive, where we encounter diverse wildlife, including wildebeest, zebras, lions, and cheetahs. As we explore the endless savannahs, we witness the beauty of one of Africa’s most iconic ecosystems. By evening, we settle into our comfortable budget lodge or tented camp, where we unwind and enjoy dinner under the star-lit African sky.

After an early breakfast, we will continue with our game drive safari in the Serengeti National Park. Later in the afternoon head to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, a UNESCO World Heritage site renowned for its incredible wildlife and stunning scenery. On the way, you'll pass through the picturesque landscapes of the Ngorongoro Highlands. Then you will get to overnight at your designated tented camp or lodge.

Ngorongoro Crater to Manyara for Overnight

After breakfast, you'll depart for the Ngorongoro Crater Safari. Once you arrive, you'll descend into the crater floor for a half-day game drive. This volcanic caldera is home to a variety of wildlife, including the Big Five (lions, elephants, leopards, buffaloes, and rhinos), as well as hippos, flamingos, and numerous bird species. Enjoy a picnic lunch at one of the designated spots before continuing your exploration. In the afternoon, you'll drive to your accommodation at Manyara (Mto Wa Mbu), where you'll relax and enjoy a well-deserved dinner after an exciting day of wildlife encounters.

Lake Manyara National Park Safari, back to Arusha for Zanzibar departure

Upon arrival, you'll embark on a game drive around the park, which is famous for its tree-climbing lions, large flamingo populations, and herds of elephants.
