Your adventure begins with a morning departure from Arusha, where you'll head towards Tarangire National Park. As you drive through the park’s wide-open landscapes, you’ll be greeted by towering baobab trees and the call of yellow-collared lovebirds. Tarangire is famed for its large elephant herds, and your guide will take you on a thrilling game drive through the park, where you might also spot lions, giraffes, warthogs, and even cheetahs. In the evening, you’ll settle into the cozy, well-equipped camp at Mto wa Mbu, where a delicious dinner awaits to end your day in comfort.

Mto wa Mbu to Serengeti National Park

After a filling breakfast, you'll set off for the Serengeti National Park, one of the world’s most famous safari destinations. Along the way, stop to admire the breathtaking views from the rim of the Ngorongoro Crater. The Serengeti’s vast plains are home to an abundance of wildlife, and if you’re lucky, you might witness the Great Migration in full swing. Your journey continues with a picnic lunch on one of the park’s rocky outcroppings called kopjes, before heading deeper into the Serengeti for your afternoon game drive. Your overnight stay will be at the Serengeti’s budget-friendly campsites, where you’ll enjoy a hearty meal and rest for the next day’s adventure.
