Ngorongoro Conservation Area to Ngorongoro Crater and Return to Arusha

After an early breakfast at Ngorongoro Conservation Area , embark on a 600-meter descent into the Ngorongoro Crater, often referred to as the "Eighth Wonder of the World." This UNESCO World Heritage Site is renowned for its diverse wildlife, including the Big Five (lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino, and leopard), along with hippos, hyenas, flamingos, and many other species.During the half-day game drive, you'll have the opportunity to observe these animals in their natural habitat, making for an unforgettable experience. A scenic picnic lunch by a hippo pool offers a chance to relax and enjoy the surroundings.In the afternoon, you'll ascend from the crater and begin your journey back to Arusha. Arusha to Tarangire National Park and overnight at Manyara (Mto Wa Mbu)

After breakfast, depart from Arusha for Tarangire National Park, leaving between 7:00 AM and 8:00 AM. Ensure you're within 10 km of the Arusha city center to be picked up by the transport. Tarangire, a hidden gem in Tanzania, is famous for its large elephant herds, iconic baobab trees, and expansive savannahs.Your driver will also be your tour guide.The park is home to a rich variety of wildlife, including lions, leopards, giraffes, zebras, and buffaloes, which you can spot during a full-day game drive along the Tarangire River. This river is a vital water source that attracts many animals.A picnic lunch will be provided in the heart of the park, offering a chance to relax and take in the surroundings before continuing your wildlife adventure. In the late afternoon, head to Mto wa Mbu for dinner.You will stay overnight at Mto wa Mbu, concluding your day of exploration in one of Tanzania’s most vibrant parks.
