Pickup is available for those within 10 kilometers of the city center, as you head towards the renowned Serengeti National Park. Along the way, you'll pass through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, offering stunning views of the crater and its lush surroundings. The journey then leads into the vast Serengeti plains, home to the Great Migration, the Big Five, and a remarkable variety of wildlife. Upon arrival, enjoy an exciting game drive spotting lions, elephants, cheetahs, and herds of wildebeest and zebras. After a thrilling day, relax at your group mid-range lodge or tented camp for dinner and an overnight stay beneath the Serengeti's star-lit sky.

Ngorongoro Conservation Area to Ngorongoro Crater and return to Arusha

An early morning after breakfast at Ngorongoro Conservation Area you will descent into the Ngorongoro Crater offers a unique opportunity to see the Big Five up close. This UNESCO World Heritage site is home to a rich variety of wildlife, including rhinos, elephants, lions, hyenas, and hippos, along with numerous species of antelope. The crater’s picturesque lake attracts flocks of flamingos, while scavengers like jackals and vultures are frequently seen. The dense wildlife makes it a prime location for an unforgettable safari experience. After enjoying a picnic lunch at the scenic Hippo Pool, surrounded by the stunning crater walls, you will ascend the crater and begin your journey between 06:00-07 PM back to Arusha, where your tour concludes in the evening.
