Moshi to Serengeti National Park

Your safari adventure begins early, with a 4:00 AM to 5:00 AM departure from Moshi, heading towards Serengeti National Park. The drive takes approximately 6-7 hours, passing through the scenic landscapes of Tanzania’s countryside and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Upon arrival at Serengeti in the afternoon, you’ll start your first game drive, which will last a few hours, providing the opportunity to see some of the park's incredible wildlife, including lions, giraffes, zebras, and antelope. As the day winds down, you’ll check into your accommodation around 6:00 PM, whether it’s a lodge or campsite, and enjoy a hearty dinner.

Full Day Game Drive at Serengeti National Park

On your second day, after an early breakfast, you’ll set off for a full day of game drives starting at 6:00 AM. Serengeti is one of the best places in Africa for game viewing, and during your day, you’ll have the chance to see the diverse wildlife it’s famous for, such as the “Big Five” (lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino, leopard) and various bird species. In the heart of Serengeti National Park, where the incredible diversity of wildlife promises an unforgettable experience. Expect to see lions, leopards, elephants, cheetahs, buffaloes, zebras, and wildebeest, along with elands, hyenas, gazelles, crocodiles, giraffes, monkeys, baboons, hippos, rhinos, and antelopes roaming the vast plains. No matter the season, Serengeti’s abundant wildlife ensures thrilling sightings year-round. After an exciting game drive, we will unwind and enjoy a delicious dinner, surrounded by the sounds of the African wilderness.

Morning Game Drive in Serengeti National Park and Over Night at Ngorongoro Conservation area

This day marks the last day of game drive in Serengeti before we make our way to Ngorongoro Crater. After an exciting game drive full of animal sightings and a picnic lunch, we will drive to the Crater. This night we will stay here, overlooking the unbroken caldera of Ngorongoro Crater. The views of the sunset over the savannah are absolutely breathtaking. After a long day of adventuring, guests will enjoy a tasty dinner prepared by our friendly cook at Ngorongoro Conservation area

Ngorongoro Crater Back to Moshi

After an early morning breakfast, we will hurry to Ngorongoro Crater, as it is the best time to spot animals. On this day, we will enjoy a game drive around the crater and stop for a picnic lunch at a small lake within the park. The lake is home to many hippos and migratory birds, so guests will be sure to enjoy the visit! Due to the animal “oasis” created within the crater, there is a high possibility of spotting every member of ‘The Big 5’. The group comprises some of the strongest animals in Africa – the ferocious lion, the giant elephant, the stealthy leopard, the charging rhino and the mighty water buffalo. Ngorongoro Crater is truly an amazing place. Did you know it was formed over two million of years ago? A large volcano erupted, collapsing the volcano, but left a perfectly unbroken crater, known as a caldera. Within the amazing crater you can expect to view the playful zebra, lumbering hippo, swift wildebeest and cackling hyenas.
