Tarangire is famous for its elephant herds, and you’ll have plenty of opportunities to spot lions, leopards, giraffes, zebras, and more. The park’s diverse wildlife and stunning landscapes will keep you engaged throughout the day. Around lunchtime, you’ll stop at a scenic picnic spot within the park for a packed lunch, giving you time to relax and take in the view. After your afternoon game drive, you’ll head to your accommodation for the night at Mto wa Mbu, where you’ll enjoy a peaceful dinner and overnight stay at the Ngedere Campsite

Ngorongoro Crater – Return to Manyara or Mto wa Mbu

After breakfast, it’s time to embark on your journey to the Ngorongoro Crater. By 8:00 AM, you’ll be at the crater’s rim, ready to descend into the caldera—a place that offers one of the best wildlife viewing experiences in the world. The day will be spent exploring this rich ecosystem, home to elephants, lions, buffalo, rhinos, and so much more. At Lake Magadi, you might even spot flamingos or hippos. Around midday, you’ll enjoy a picnic lunch at the Ngoitoktok Hippo Pool before continuing your game drive. By the afternoon, you’ll ascend from the crater and return to Mto wa Mbu for a relaxing evening at Simba Campsite

On your final day, you’ll head to Lake Manyara National Park, a place of both beauty and excitement. The park’s variety of habitats makes it a photographer’s dream, and the impressive birdlife, including flamingos, will leave you in awe. After a final game drive and picnic lunch, you’ll head back to Arusha, arriving around 4:00 PM, marking the end of your 3-day safari adventure.
