Game Drive in Nyerere National Park, Guided Walking Safari
After early breakfast, proceedfor a game drive with a picnic lunch. Enjoy the scenic views of the Selous Game Reserve, and spot more animals that you may have otherwise missed. Selous is roughly the size of Switzerland with unexploited African wilderness and rolling savanna plains. Zanzibar to Nyerere National Park, Game Drive and Boat Cruise
On the first day of the safari, you will leave Zanzibar on a ferry at 7 am for Dar es Salaam from where your guide shall pick you up and transfer you to Selous Game Reserve. Selous is quite a distance so you will arrive by mid-day and on arrival and after lunch; you will go for a boat ride in the Rufiji River. Crocodiles, hippos, and hippos can be seen here as well as other animals as they converge to quench their thirst. Crocodiles take advantage to hunt their prey and you might be treated to sights of animal action if lucky. Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.
