Mwanza to Serengeti National Park
Pick up from your hotel and leave Mwanza around 9am and drive for 2hrs30min to the World-famous Serengeti National Park with Lunch Boxes Serengeti is one of the largest wildlife sanctuaries in the World. The extensive grasslands are interspersed with 'kopjes' -rocky outcrops like islands in the flat plain just like the Sea of grass. The park's name Serengeti derived from a Masai word 'Siringet' meaning 'endless plain' is witnessed when sailing in the short and long grass plains. It is here where the world’s great migration takes place annually. Nile Crocodiles, the largest crocodile lies in wait in Serengeti rivers.

Full Day Game Drive Safari in Serengeti National Park
After breakfast we enjoy a full day game drive safari in Serengeti National Park with lunch at the Camp, along the Sogore River Circuit, which loops into the plains south of the Seronera River, and which is good for possible lion, Thomson gazelle, topi, ostrich and cheetah sightings. The visitor’s center not far from the Serengeti Seronera Lodge and public campsites, is well worth a visit after the morning’s game drive. This nicely designed center, offers some interesting wildlife displays as well as a gift shop selling information leaflets and maps of the area. The center also has a shop where cold drinks and snacks can be purchased, as well as a picnic area and information trail up and around a nearby kopje. We will enjoy a relaxed picnic lunch at the center in the shade of the giant acacia trees. Dinner and overnight in the Seronera area, as per the standard and type of accommodation option requested.

Serengeti National Park to Mwanza
The day may start with an early morning sunrise game drive (that is before breakfast), or you can take breakfast and then start the day game viewing. We are always flexible on that so that our clients can get what they expected on a safari. After lunch, prepare the journey back to Mwanza while enjoying en route game drives. Drop you in Mwanza (drop off point to be advised).
