You will be picked up from Arusha early in the morning and driven for about 2 hours to Moshi, then an hour the Marangu Gate. After completing registration, your Kilimanjaro day hike begins. The trail leads you through a vibrant rainforest, where you may pass climbers on their descent. Upon arrival at Mandara Huts, you'll have lunch and can take a short walk to Maundi Crater. Dinner and an overnight stay will follow at Mandara Huts.
