Moshi to Tarangire National Park and overnight at Manyara (Mto wa Mmbu)

Your safari adventure begins with an early start around 5:00 AM to 6:00 AM as you depart from Moshi, heading towards Tarangire National Park. The drive takes about 2-3 hours , offering scenic views of the Tanzanian countryside. Upon arrival at Tarangire, which is renowned for its vast elephant herds and iconic baobab trees, you’ll embark on your first game drive. During the morning drive, you’ll have the chance to spot elephants, zebras, giraffes, and a wide variety of bird species. After a thrilling morning of wildlife watching, you'll break for lunch , where you’ll enjoy a packed lunch in one of the park’s designated picnic areas, surrounded by nature. The afternoon game drive, offers more opportunities to explore different areas of the park and witness even more wildlife. you’ll leave Tarangire and head to your overnight accommodation, typically in Manyara (Mto wa Mmbu) enjoy a delicious dinner, and unwind after an exciting day of safari.

Ngorongoro Crater and Return to Moshi

On the second day, your day begins even earlier, departure for Ngorongoro Crater. The journey takes about 1.5 to 2.5 hours, and upon arrival, you’ll begin your descent into the crater, known for its rich biodiversity and large populations of the "Big Five" (lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard, and rhino). you’ll explore the crater floor during a morning game drive, where the animals roam freely in this unique ecosystem. At afternoon you’ll stop for lunch inside the crater, enjoying a packed meal while taking in the views of wildlife around you. The afternoon game drive continues, offering a chance to explore different habitats within the crater and observe the incredible wildlife. you’ll start your return journey back to Moshi. You should arrive back in Moshi around 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM, completing your two-day safari with lasting memories of Tanzania’s wildlife and landscapes.
