You will be picked up at the Kilimanjaro International Airport and transferred to your hotel in Moshi town, you will meet your guide who will brief you on your upcoming trek and do an equipment check to make sure you have all the necessary mountain gear. Machame Gate to Machame Camp
The climb starts from Machame gate (1830m), we walk through the lush lower slopes of Mt. Kilimanjaro. Slowly gaining altitude while enjoying the diverse flora and fauna of the rain forest, you will arrive to the first Machame Camp, situated at 3000m above sea level If is a clear day, we may get our first closer look at the glaciated dome of Kibo if the evening clouds permit.

Machame Camp 2835M to Shira Camp (3,750 M)
A shorter day climbing up a steep ridge to reach a small semicircular cliff known as Picnic site, and continue up a gentler ascent through the lower alpine moorland, which is known for beautiful wild alpine flowers. The most spectacular views of Kibo peak can be seen from Shira Camp.

Shira Cave Camp 3750 M to Barranco Camp 3900M {VIA Lava Tower camp 4600M}
Today we walk on a gentle ascent and panoramic views. We traverse the southwest side of Kilimanjaro, passing underneath the Lava Tower and the final section of the Western Breach and after hot lunch the bottom of the Lava Tower (4,600 m.) we descend to the bottom of the Great Barranco valley (3,950 m.).

Barranco Camp {3900m} to Karanga camp (3995 m)
A steep climb up the eastern wall leads us just below the Heim Glacier, where we may have some spectacular views of Kilimanjaro. We then take a steep exit up the Great Barranco Wall, which divides us from the southeastern slopes of Kibo, the trail continues down into the alpine desert of the Karanga Valley, finally we have a steep climb up to Karanga Camp.

Karanga Camp 3995m to Barafu Camp (4,673 m.)
A steep climb out of Karanga, and an easy path on compacted scree with wide views through this empty and dry landscape up to Barafu Camp. The two peaks Kibo and Mawenzi can been seen from Barafu Camp. After a hot lunch at the Camp, the remainder of the day is spent resting as we prepare for the final ascent before an early night summit walk.

Barafu Camp 4673m to Uhuru peak 5,895 m to Mweka Camp (3100 m)
Wake up before midnight in the cover of darkness. We begin a steep climb over loose volcanic scree has some well-graded zig-zags and a slow but steady pace will take us to rim of the main crater, Stella Point, at 5,735m. We will rest there for few minutes to enjoy the sunrise over Mawenzi. Those who are still feeling good can continue slowly to make the two hours round trip from here along the crater rim to main peak (5,895 m), which is the highest point in Africa. After a few minutes to appreciate your accomplishment, we descend to Barafu is amazingly fast, and we stop at Barafu Camp for some refreshment, we continue to descend to reach Mweka Camp.

A gentle walk takes us down through the rainforest to Mweka gate successful climbers will receive their summit certificates. After lunch, we drive back to Moshi to your hotel.

Moshi to Tarangire National Park
Please note: that we will pick you up early in the morning from Moshi to Arusha at an extra cost of $50 We will depart from Moshi in the early hours of the day and drive to Tarangire National Park where colossal termite mounds and ancient baobab trees await us. This park is renowned for its immense elephant population, their picturesque scenery and diverse bird life. Tarangire has enticing wildlife that includes elephants, lions, giraffes, warthogs, ostriches, impalas, cheetahs, mongooses, buffaloes and baboons. When our game drive comes to an end, we will proceed to Lake Manyara where you will get dinner and overnight.

Mto Wa Mbu to Ngorongoro Crater
Early morning game drives provide you with an excellent opportunity to spot wildlife. We will enjoy a wonderful game drive with an appetizing picnic lunch inside the crater. The elevated structure encourages the animals to settle inside the crater which means you are capable of spotting every member of ‘The Big 5’ in one day. The big five tend to dominate the savannah and consist of buffalo, lions, elephants, rhinos and leopards. Your guide will be in close contact with the other safari drivers and his impressive ability to track down hidden animals will assure that you have an eventful day. We will have dinner and spend the night Lake Manyara.

Lake Manyara National Park to Arusha
In the morning we will depart to Lake Manyara where we will spend the day and enjoy a delectable picnic lunch. The park is nestled at the base of the rusty gold Great Rift Valley escarpment and the scenic landscape is breathtakingly magnificent. An abundance of species are able to reside in the park due to the wide range of habitats. The park record consists of over 380 species of birds, some of which are migratory, making it the ideal location for bird watchers. Thousands of pink-hued flamingos occupy the margin of the lake; other large water birds include pelicans, storks and cormorants. The wildlife you can expect to see are buffalo, elephants, giraffe, impalas and the ferocious hippos that inhabit the water. Our trip will come to an end in the late afternoon. We will proceed to Arusha.
