Zanzibar – Mikumi National Park
Your safari begins early in the morning from Zanzibar with a ferry transfer to Dar es Salaam. Upon arrival, you will meet your professional safari guide and continue your journey to Mikumi National Park by private car (approximately 5–6 hours), or alternatively travel by SGR train to Morogoro followed by a road transfer to the park. You will arrive in the afternoon and head straight into the park for an exciting evening game drive, where you may spot elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffalo, and possibly lions. After the game drive, you will proceed to your budget lodge or campsite for dinner and an overnight stay.

Full Day in Mikumi National Park
After breakfast, you will enjoy a full-day game drive in Mikumi National Park, exploring its vast open plains and wildlife-rich areas such as the famous Mkata Floodplain. The park offers excellent opportunities to spot a wide range of animals, including lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, hippos, and numerous bird species. A picnic lunch will be served inside the park, allowing you to relax and take in the natural surroundings before continuing with your afternoon game drive. In the evening, you will return to your lodge or campsite for dinner and overnight.
