Witness a stunning sunrise, spend 10–20 minutes for photos, then descend to Barafu Camp for rest and lunch. Continue down to Mweka Camp (3,100 m). Distance: 5 km up, 12 km down; 7–8 hrs up, 4–6 hrs down.
