Your safari begins with an early morning departure from Dar es Salaam to Mikumi National Park by car or via the Standard Gauge Railway Tanzania (with transfer to the park). The journey takes approximately 5–6 hours. Upon arrival in the afternoon, you will enter the park for a game drive where you may spot giraffes, zebras, elephants, and other wildlife. Dinner and overnight at your lodge or campsite.

After breakfast, you will depart from Mikumi National Park and drive to Nyerere National Park. The journey takes approximately 6–8 hours through scenic southern Tanzania landscapes. Upon arrival in the late afternoon, you may relax at your lodge or, depending on time, enjoy an optional boat safari along the Rufiji River. Dinner and overnight at your lodge or camp.

Spend a full day exploring Nyerere National Park with guided game drives through its diverse ecosystems of savannah, woodland, and riverine areas. You may also enjoy a boat safari on the Rufiji River, where hippos and crocodiles are commonly seen. Return to your lodge or camp for dinner and overnight.
